Magma Film Rentals — Moisés Socas

1. Scope Magma Film Rentals, operated by Moisés Socas, provides professional audiovisual equipment rental services in Tenerife and neighbouring islands, subject to availability.

2. Booking and confirmation All bookings must be made at least 48 hours in advance unless otherwise agreed. A booking is only confirmed upon receipt of the corresponding deposit. Until then, equipment is not reserved.

3. Client identification To formalise any rental, the client must provide a valid form of identification — national ID, NIE or passport. Companies and production houses must also provide their tax identification number and the details of the responsible contact person.

4. Equipment condition All equipment is delivered fully checked, in perfect working order and properly documented. The client must inspect the equipment at the time of collection and report any issue before leaving the collection point. Failure to do so implies acceptance of the equipment in the described condition.

5. Client responsibility The client assumes full responsibility for all equipment from the moment of collection until its return. Any damage, loss, theft or deterioration — regardless of cause — is the client's responsibility. The client will be liable for the cost of repair or replacement based on the current market value of the affected equipment.

6. Equipment use Rented equipment is for the client's exclusive use and may not be sub-rented, transferred or lent to third parties without prior express written authorisation.

7. Return Equipment must be returned on the agreed date and time, in the same condition as delivered. Late returns without prior notice and agreement will incur an additional charge equivalent to one day's rental rate for each day of delay.

8. Pricing and VAT All prices shown exclude VAT unless otherwise stated. Applicable VAT will be that in force at the time of invoicing.

9. Applicable law These terms and conditions are governed by Spanish law. For any disputes, both parties submit to the courts of Santa Cruz de Tenerife.

Deposit & Cancellation Policy

A deposit of 30% of the total rental amount is required to confirm any booking. This serves as a guarantee against damage, loss or any incident involving the equipment, and is deducted from the final invoice when the rental concludes without issue. The deposit is payable by bank transfer or cash at the time of confirmation. Equipment is not reserved until payment has cleared.

The deposit is refunded in full within 48 hours of return, provided the equipment comes back in perfect condition. If there is partial damage, the repair cost is deducted from the deposit. If that cost exceeds the deposit, the client covers the difference.

Regarding cancellations, if you cancel more than 7 days before the rental date, there is no charge and the full deposit is refunded. If you cancel between 3 and 7 days before, 50% of the deposit is retained. If you cancel less than 48 hours before, the full deposit is retained. In the event of a no-show without prior notice, the full deposit is retained and 50% of the total rental amount is also charged.

All cancellations must be submitted in writing to info@moisessocas.com. Verbal cancellations are not valid under this policy. In the event of a documented case of force majeure, each situation will be assessed individually.
